A New Course

To clear up any confusion or uncertainty regarding the recent messaging and downtime:
Pirates Cove is NOT shutting down.

Having been involved with HL2DM since 2006 and maintaining our server for a decade, the priority remains providing a solid and fun gaming experience for everyone in the community. While there was some consideration about moving on, it’s clear the story isn't ready to end just yet.

Instead of closing down, the server is undergoing a necessary overhaul. Work is being done to strip away the noise and refocus on a "Game First" mentality—getting back to the fun, the laughs, and the action that this server has always been known for.

• What’s happening now Extensive work is being done behind the scenes to refresh the environment and optimize the experience. This time is being used to ensure the foundation is solid before the relaunch. The patience and understanding shown over the last few days is greatly valued. Sometimes a pause is needed to realize exactly how to make things better.
• The server will be reopening soon Keep an eye out for official announcements or visit this page for updates. It’s almost time to get back on the deck and start dropping frags again.
